Very small place but the food is exceptional. I recommend the Mi Xao, great for someone who wants to try leave their comfort zone but still play it safe! I also got the Imperial Roll, it’s mediocre at best. This is a great take out restaurant!
Normally when you visit any small local restaurant you expect you get personalized service. Food is good but the service was horrible. The owner lady was very adamant. I am vegetarian and despite mentioning that I am vegetarian they serve me main course with fish sauce. I agree that some of the Asians consider fish as vegetarian so I specifically requested vegetarian option. So despite good food the attitude of the lady makes this place horrible. In food industry along with food attitude also matters and for that I’ll give this place negative rating.
Options are a bit limited on the menu, but the favors are potent and delicious. This place has an amazing house salad and salad dressing. I do wish there were a few more options without meat on the menu, but the tofu and curry options presently available are delicious! Great local eatery!
I absolutely love this place. My dad was a military guy and always made jokes about Vietnamese food so I was hesitant to try… I am so glad that I did.
Everything I have had has been delicious except the pho. Namnam’s Beef pho is tasteless, I had to add a lot of sauce to make it flavorful. Also, the beef was inedible as it had so much fat! Disappointing. Get the imperial rolls!! But do NOT go here for Pho!
Greasy, tasteless Pho. I eat Pho at least two times a week and have for years. I was looking forward to trying the Pho at NamNam cafe and did so recently.When my bowl arrived I immediately noticed a much larger amount of fat on the surface of my broth than I am accustomed to seeing. While I was able to look past this, I cannot look past the lack of traditional flavor that is common to Pho. This almost tasted like plain, salted beef broth. There was not even a hint of star anise or any of the other traditional Pho spices.Major disappointment. I will not return.
Wonderful food but the dining room leaves much to be desired. Most of the tables are very wobbly and often there is a small fly/gnat problem when we dine in the dining room. But the Pho and the sizzling pot catfish are worth the slight issues with the dining room.
