Not a Honey Baked Turkey Store. Guess that I would not go to a store specializing in fish and expect a great burger. I would try the ham next time instead of writing a scathing review.

OK- mmm. My wife and grandchild have lunch here on Monday’s. Our grandchild likes to go eat at the HAM store. I met up with them last Monday for lunch. The place is well known for it’s Honey Baked Hams but has a nice menu of soups and sandwiches. I ordered the turkey and brie sandwich on their special bread. I should have stuck with the ham but the turkey and cheese seem to be a good choice. Wrong, there was about four slices of processed turkey on the sandwich and it had no taste, really you could not tell what kind of meat it should have been. The cheese added nothing, if it had not been for the spicy mustard, the sandwich would have been tastless. My wife said her ham was good and the soup was good. Another person told me today that they get the club sandwich, ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce and it is very good. I was just surprised that this place served the process meat and not real turkey. I also understand that they do not bake the hams at the store anymore but just put the glaze on them. How our world of food has gone down hill, give me some real meat!!! Would not go back again. Located next door to the St. Matthews Post Office at the Shelbyville Rd. Plaza. Lots of parking out front. While there go two doors down and pick up some bird seed for your back yard friends.
