Wonderful food. I haven’t gotten one bad thing yet. The grill cheese is well worth the LONG wait. Anytime you go make sure to cut about 2 hours out of your day. Usually low on staff but the food though… Just wait and you’ll be happy.
Love love love it!!! The owner is a woman who does all the cooking, and she’s incredibly gracious. She even gave me an extra helping of potato salad when she saw I liked it. The tomato stuffed with chicken salad was utterly amazing. Their desserts are to die for. She is known for her cheesecakes. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
Omg the desserts! To die for! Awesome staff! Loves these ladies to pieces and Kathy the owner is just a hoot to be around and just a lovely lady! Treat yourself and go check them out!
The hot brown was one of the best I’ve had for years and I’ve had several including the original at the Brown.
Homemade food. The sandwiches are huge and everything is homemade. I had a croissant sandwich with ham. But is was real thick cut ham not plain old store bought lunch meat. My girlfriend had the chicken salad which was also home made. All of the sides are also made from scratch and were delicious. We both got desserts because they looked amazing and we split them and had to take home most of it because they were gigantic slices. So glad this building finally got a good owner…jtwon can use more good restaurants like this. Lunch was a little pricey but worth it for the portion size and quality.
Best Saturday breakfast in Jtown! Quiche is flaky creamy and light. Sausage is meaty and mild. Everything is fresh and homemade daily. Large Egg BLT on homemade bread Yumm! Lunch specials include a fabulous hot brown.
I was fortunate to find this place through my grandpa– we got lunch here while I was home for break. It was a huge surprise: the food was wonderful. I got the club sandwich and tomato cheddar soup, and it was incredibly fresh. Topped it off with some holiday cheesecake, and we were stuffed. For the quality food you receive here– it’s all homemade– it is a great value. Highly recommend.
