Relatively new to the Saint Matthews area, I was pleasantly surprised at this chain location. While it isn’t a local Louisville original establishment, this dining option rivals wild eggs with its clean and inviting environment paired with delicious food options. I was also particularly impressed with the staff–knowledgeable and friendly, willing to cater to even the pickiest of eaters.
I LOVE this place! The very best staff, directed by an incredible manager, serving the very best in healthy alternative eating choices. I have never had a bad experience, even when waiting for a table. There is free coffee, pleasant conversations and free newspapers. Absolutely the best place to get in a wonderful meal and feel ready to take on the rest of the day!
I love this place. My wife and I have breakfast here several times. The food is excellent and the service, as well. I had the pumpkin pancake with eggs and sausage. All was perfectly cooked. My advise: get up and get here early for a wonderful experience.
Went for lunch on a Thursday around 12:30. Waited a few minutes for a table. We were greeted very nicely. Food came out fast, server was great, very helpful & nice. Veggie omelette with potatoes was very good. Kids French toast was more than enough for a 3 year old. Chicken quinoa bowl with cherries was excellent! Will be back!
There are NOT enough breakfast places in Louisville!! Found this place had opened and gave it a try. I have been there twice now and everything I’ve ordered was delicious!! I love that everything is made with fresh ingredients, you can definitely tell! Will go back again!
Cold. Waited 20 minutes for simple eggs and bacon eggs overcooked and cold really WAFFLE HOUSE WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER CHOICE and cheaper …..
First Watch: Community Table, the new Open Bar. First Watch was a pleasant, cozy food experience. I dined with my sister after church on a Sunday, so the space was a little crowded. Our wait time was 30 minutes or so. While the wait, I enjoyed a free cup of coffee! The food was good, but I didnt enjoy my entree which was the raisin bread french toast. The bread seemed tough to cut…But I did enjoy what my sister orderd. I was excited about the fresh juice options, and plan to order one if I ever go back. Also, I really appreciated the community table, which seated about 8 people from separate parties. The community table was more like an open bar concept, but seating all at one table. The only dislike was the floors being dirty.
