Terrible Service. One thing that IHOP has in common no matter where you go is extremely poor service. We ate at the one on Hurstbourne Lane in Louisville and we first were told the wait was 5-10 minutes, so we sat with five other families waiting. Sad thing was there were easily 12 tables in the front dining room that were empty and clean. No excuse to make people wait. Then we sit down and were asked what we would like to drink and it took 10 minutes or more to get these. We ordered four meals and after waiting better than 45 minutes three of the four were wrong. Food was good once we got it all correctly but there is no excuse for meals to be messed up nor to wait that long when a restaurant is not that busy.

Terrible service. I sat there for 5 min before one of the three servers asked me what I wanted to eat. We all looked at one another and when I would make eye contact to ask for something to drink they would look the other way. I will not go back!

I hop on in, you should too.. Named for pancakes, International House of Pancakes actually has a full menu of American staples. And they are all done surprisingly well. I’m not saying that this place should get a Michelin star, but everything I’ve had here was been tasty and well prepared. And that includes such diverse things as pot roast, country fired steak, omelets and of course pancakes. The decor is clean, well maintained, family dinner. Open rooms, so it is a bit noisy. The staff are generally efficient and friendly. Open 24/7, if you want a decent meal at odd hours this is a good choice. One warning, late nights on weekends can actually be quite busy!Note: For those of us who try to be a bit careful with our carb intake, they do have sugar free syrup for those pancakes one probably shouldn’t be eating, but you have to ask for it.

A fave. I come here a lot and I love it. The service is good and so is the food. You can come any time and almost never have an issue. The only time I’ve had a bad experience was with a server who for one tried to pressure me into getting a hot chocolate instead of a water (sorry I didn’t want any sweets) and then got mad at us for not telling him to split the bill when he never even asked in the first place he just assumed. Other than that I have no complaints. I just hope I don’t get that server again or maybe I will just try to catch him at a time when he’s in a friendlier mood.

Patrick is an awesome waiter.. He is very friendly.. He joked around with us and made our time pleasant.. Not to mention the speed of service.. My food came out quick and our drinks stayed full

Food is good same as any other ihop but service is terrible, everyone is rude. Clearly can’t handle busy hours. Will drive to Clarksville next time.
