Visited for the first timefor dinner recently and left very pleased. I had their burnt ends (I got thereearly enough) and two sides: mac and cheese and green beans. The meat wasdelicious but the sides were pretty standard. The place is clean and fresh andthe food is excellent. I recommend.
I really liked it. The 1/2 chicken, wings and baked beans are really good. The Mexi-cola wasn’t worth it. Like a bottle of coke with no refills. I’ll be back definitely. The food is very good.
Oh my goodness these wings, oh my goodness. I had the best smoked wings I’ve ever had in Louisville here. I was not ready for the crispy yet juicy wings with their perfect dry run and the delicious homemade sauce options that I didn’t even need because these wings were so perfect I didn’t want to taint them with anything else
Mamas. OK reviews were hit n miss but I get it. Beef ribs were spot on. Good flavor, spice, rub and bark. Very tender moist . dry wings were also very good. BBQ sauce was very tasty both house and spicy. Didn’t get offered pickles but heard they were good that’s a training issue. My server was great other than pickles but I can see in the review why their is mention of wait staff ,some seem to be un attentive. Nice beer selection. Would come back for the beef ribs again

Tried Mama’s during a business trip and loved it. The half chicken was cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone. Nice kick to the hot sauce too. Will definately come back next time I’m in Louisville.
