I absolutely love this place! I’m no stranger to Noodles, but it’s the customer service at this location that I can’t get over! Always smiling, extremely attentive, and always going above and beyond. I even scored a free piece of carrot cake, which was AMAZING. Beer selection rocks and the music is just what it should be. I’m now a regular.

Garlic bread, three LITTLE pieces DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE COST

Not a huge selection but we really liked what we got. Like the idea of having gluten free pasta. Staff was very friendly. The special of the day was buffalo Mac & cheese which was excellent! They asked if we wanted to try a sample for free & they gave us a whole bowl of it.

So glad Noodles & Company is in Louisville now. Great place for quick pasta.

Don’t Get the Garlic Bread…First time eating at Noodles & Company. Contemporary setting, order at the counter, with a good fresh selection of cooked to order pasta dishes. The Penne Rosa with Chicken was really good. My daughter had the Pad Thai which was okay…Not the best I’ve had but still good. Don’t order the Garlic Bread however to compliment your pasta dish. For $2.99 or $4.99 you’ll get either 3 or 6 of the smallest pieces of cheesy garlic bread I’ve ever been served…basically 6 finger bites. They were tasty but I wouldn’t pay 5 bucks again for 6 tiny bites of bread! It soured my view of this restaurant that otherwise is a decent place for a quick fresh prepared bowl of pasta.

Yang Kee Noodle meets Fazoli’s. This place has been open less than a month, so it may improve. They will also be adding wine, beer and cakes to their menu soon. The liquor or sweets might improve my impression as well. But I doubt it will improve things enough to entice me back any time soon. I stopped by for a late lunch today. The place is very new, clean and modern, with harsh acoustics. The kitchen is largely open to view, but that also means with the acoustics you hear every bang of a pan, every beep of a timer. Seating is diverse with bar height tables, standard tables and booths. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, but food service was a tad slow for a place that did not seem very busy. The food, as one might guess, is largely noodle centric. But they span a wide range of types of noodles, from Mac & Cheese, through pasta to Asian. They also have a few sandwiches, salads, soups and a couple of appetizers. You order your noodle dish, which is vegetarian, if you want a meat or tofu added, that costs extra. You can also add a side order size of soup or salad for $1.00. A meal here seems to average out about $10 a person, not including liquor.I had the pot stickers and pad thai. The pot stickers are not pot stickers. They are odd little mashed flat things without much flavor. I’ve had frozen factory made pot stickers I liked better. Do not buy these if you like pot stickers, you will be disappointed.I also had the pad thai. This dish was as much like the pad thai at a Thai restaurant, as a Taco Bell taco is like a Mexican street taco. By which I mean it is not inherently bad, but it’s not very much like it’s name sake. Though much closer than the pot stickers. The noodles were not bad. They came with large chunks of cooked carrot, a small pile of cold bean sprouts and two sprigs of cilantro. I added shrimp to mine and got perhaps a dozen small, not particularly tasty shrimp. The overall flavor was distinctly sweet, without the spices and floral notes you’d expect from the seasonings normally found in this well known dish. The funky note of fish sauce was not even apparent. I added a healthy dose of hot sauce and ate most of my serving, I was hungry and it wasn’t awful, just not what I was expecting. In short, if you have a party who are going out to dine, and some are picky eaters, some want Italian and some want Asian, and all of you want some liquor to go with it, this might be a good choice. Also, the place offers gluten free noodles and is quite vegetarian friendly. If either of those things are a concern, you might consider eating here. Otherwise, I would not recommend it.
