Very good!! Best salsa in town. Service was fast and very friendly. The dining room was comfortable and clean. Not too noisy, but not too quiet for kids. It has $$, but there were several entrees under $10. I think this is our new weekly mex!!!
Excellent / Fresh. This place has got to be one of my favorite Mexican places to eat. Their salsa is a bit too spicy for me, so I always ask for mild and it’s soooooo good. The freshness of the veggies is awesome. I have never had a problem getting a table, unlike others who bring a giant party of 10 that request to be seated immediately… Everything I’ve eaten here is great. Love the cheese dip!

Nice place, good food. Last night was my wife and my’s first visit to a Senor Iguanas. The J-town location is comfortable, clean and the decor is warm and relaxing. The menu has what appear to be a lot of standard-fare Mex and Tex-Mex choices. We did try the Senor Iguanas Dip, Queso, ground beef and Pico de giao and it disappeared quickly with the warm tortilla chips. The complementary salsa served with the chips was chunky, fresh and slightly on the picante side. I ordered the Pollo Monterrey and my wife had the Carne Asada. Both were well prepared, served hot and tastefully presented. The Pollo was an especially attractive dish with the colors of the peppers, tomatoes, beans, rice and white queso. My wife, who is Colombian, likes food picante but does not like heavy seasonings. Senor Iguanas food fit her to a T. I my case I found the ingredients to be fresh and tasty. My only complaint is that it was a little on the bland side. I have a number of other Louisville Mexican restaurants on my favorites list because of offering a buffet or particular dishes I love; however, I will have to add Senor Iguana near the top. It was a pleasant dining experience.
Won’t be back. The food was bland and not very tasty, nothing stood out about the meal. The servers seem to be more interested in flirting with each other and watching tv than they are with providing the simple tasks you would expect at any restaurant.
It was a refreshing fresh mixture of food, drink and atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
