I’ve never had anything bad from here. The service can be hit or miss, but the food is always great! I highly suggest the burgers or the nachos with pulled pork. They have better pulled pork than most barbecue places, and their nachos are huuuuge. Definitely worth it!
Not going back. We went there for lunch and ordered off the lunch menu only to discover when it came time to pay the bill, the waitress put my and my wife’s order in for dinner portions. Following up on this, the waitress did not bother checking on our drinks until we were ready to leave. Her tip was below average. We also found out this restaurant uses the same hot fryer vat of oil for everything deep fried, be it chicken, fish, fries, or whatever. No wonder my daughter’s fries tasted rancid. The mixture of flavors in the oil ruins everything cooked in it.
Not Consistent Quality. Everytime we go here it’s either good or it’s bad, and I’m tired of risking it! There are some food items that are typically good, but that limits what you can safely order from their menu. I will never go back for lunch – it was incredibly slow even though there were only a few customers and i know most of the food is precooked!
Ordered Asiago Chicken Penne to go. The pasta was DRY as a BONE. Very off putting, especially when you pay $14.00 for this dinner.
First and only visit. My only trip to Smokey Bones was ruined when they wanted to charge extra for another piece of bread. Never when back for fear of nickel and dimeing.
Good BBQ. I had the baby back ribs combo, including wings, with fries and apples. A good combo to have. The wife was disappointed that pot pie was taken off the menu. I like the atmosphere here alot, with the TVs playing sports and music.
