The service wasn’t that great but the food was good. I love the atmosphere although it could be lighter it seems so unnecessarily dark in there. We had ribs which were fantastic and a really good burger and sides. The food is def worth it. It is very American. Will return when in area.
My New Favorite Place to Eat. Absolutely loved it! I went to the bathroom as we were being seated and the drinks were on the table before I got back. Very reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food received. Earnest was our waitor and he was friendly and made for an excellent experience. I can’t wait to go back already!
First time–won’t be the last.. My wife and I went to Copper River for the first time today, the service was great, didn’t get the server’s name, but she was tall, slim working the bar and serving as well, very good service, and the food was great as well. A small drive for us, but can’t wait for another excuse to go back.
We’ve been to thete different locations and the Nicholasville, KY restaurant was the best. Hostess greeted us right away, server was at our table promptly to take our drink orders! Granted, this was at lunchtime on a Saturday & before noon. However, same situation in a SC location wasn’t nearly as efficient & friendly. The BEST potato soup, lots of flavor & it reminds me more of homemade!!Salads are delicious! The waitress, Christine C, suggested the hot bacon honey mustard dressing…I would suggest it now too! It enhances all the wonderful flavors of the house salad rather than overpowering it.The Chef came around to see how we liked the food…great! I definitely recommend you give this restaurant a try or a second chance if you tried it before & didn’t have a great experience.
Service at the bar seems to be lacking..go there all the time. we like to sit at the bar. The service keeps getting slower and slower there. food is incredible, so if the same servers are there we will have to get a table. one actually checked out another waitresses phone when we needed refills. we were sitting right there. There is always an excuse why we get bad service. One of them is pulling the weight. Once again, we got excuses.
Huge portions great drinks too. We were hesitant to try this place because of the reviews however our experience was awesome. Our drinks were great as was the bartender. Our food tasted delicious. We had the reds onions with another couple – so good, not greasy at all and the ranch dressing was rich (not watered down like at some places). My husband’s steak was cooked to order and he loved it. My friend and I both got salads with the house dressing. Love that house dressing! The ladies who greeted us were lovely and our waitress was attentive. We were there on a busy Friday night with another couple on a holiday weekend and the ladies at the hostess desk were sweet and organized. We couldn’t believe how reasonable the bill was and we checked it because we thought they may have left something off but, no, just huge kickass food for a reasonable price. There may have been problems last year but I’m happy to say that we did not run into any of that when we went so hopefully they’ve fixed those concerns. Big ‘ol thumbs up.
Worst service ever!. Our server today at the Nicholasville Ky restaurant was incompetent. We ordered appetizers and had an entire conversation about what to expect for our entrees. But, not only did the sever fail to write down our order she claimed that we did not make the order! We left without having our meal! It was incredibly disappointing. I will not be going back and do not encourage anyone to go until the servers learn some basic customer courtesy.
