I eat at a fair amount of great places around town and the prawn app from here ranks up with some of the best in the area. I would put it with the sticky buns at Kaze and the duck confit at Salazar. Both her pork tacos and my pork sandwich were tasty and full of flavor. The frites plus the aioli were a great combination. She had the drink special which was a watermelon concoction and the beer list is solid.

Slow, haphazard service, tough steak, salty scallops. Nothing really stood out as excellent. Just not impressed. There are better restaurants in the area.

What a fun restaurant experience! Loved the eclectic international menu. The street tacos and fries (yum) were to die for, pork was spiced just right and juicy. Ensalada cubano with its grilled pineapple was filling and delicious. My friend loved the prawn Laksa’s spicey, creamy sauce and noodles and the friend pound cake with berries and whipped cream was enough for 4 to share. Service was attentive and playful if you want it. Prices were VERY reasonable. I will certainly return!

We stopped in for dinner before a show across the street at the Madison Theater. Turned out it was opening night for a cool new restaurant! There was a lot of energy, and many of the artists, who’s work was displayed in the restaurant/art gallery were there. Several years ago we had eaten at this same location when I think it was a pizza place. The new place was much cleaner and modern and with contemporary art, on display and for sale, on all the walls. They have added a bar in the back room, up a few stairs, with more interesting art there also. The paintings made for good conversation topics and we even talked to one of the artists. We sat up front and enjoyed the classic architecture of the buildings across the street on Madison.Service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive, informative, and suggested some good dishes. The owner greeted us at the door, and the chef stopped by after the meal. You could tell everyone was super excited about opening day. Since we got there early, we might have been the first actual customers!? , so we may have gotten special treatment 🙂 Food was very good. The menu was a single printed sheet, and had a variety of sandwiches and entrees. I noticed a Thai dish and an Indian dish. They had cocktails and wine, but the beer list was a little short but had a lot of beer variants (cider, hard root beer). I had a Kentucky themed meal, with a Kentucky bourbon ale, and the Kentucky hot brown sandwich. Delicious, with a tasty potato side dish. My wife had a fancy BLT. A delicious sandwich on flax seed bread ,with crisp bacon, fried green tomatoes, and avocado. Wish I had taken photos, for this, my first ever restaurant review!Cheers
