No wait and fresh food. It was pouring rain tonight and my husband and I were tired for a Friday night and the interstate was backed up. I said let’s pull in here and give it a shot. I’m so glad we did. We don’t have much on our side of town and I hate cracker barrel or golden coral. We were the first guests in and our waiter was awesome. We had juicy salmon with the skins left on so much flavor. Mashed real potatoes and a side lots to choose from. We also enjoyed the jumbo hot wings. The ice tea was fresh brewed as well. They do have a full bar if that’s your thing too. We will go back.

Great Place!. We were looking for something different one night and stopped by and we my husband and I were really impressed. I really think this place needs to advertise more, I have talked to people that was like me and did not know anything about this restaurant. We ordered open faced turkey and mashed potatoes was awesome and half price it was the special for the night. Great Food, Great service!!! 🙂

Very good ribeye…. One of the best ribeye steaks I’ve had in a while. Fried chicken was over deep fried and not all that great. A strange twice baked potato stuffed in a deep fried potato skin you typically see in potato skin appetizers was actually pretty good. Bread pudding was good.Overall, this is what I call a sucker place. They have decent prices and entrees come with only one side. You get suckered into ordering a salad or additional side. To add a simple side or side salad is $3.25 to $3.75. That makes the total price too high for what you get.

Good service and good food!. My husband and I have been to Cortland’s on several occasions. The food and service have been good. It’s reasonably priced and you get a lot of food! There were not many customers and the atmosphere is what you expect from a hotel restaurant, but we will definitely be going back.

Good food. Not what you would expect to find in the clarion hotel.

I dont know why this place has such terrible reviews. It is in a hotel, and feels like a hotel diner. Not where I would expect to find high class dining. I was willing to give them a chance. There where a couple of odd parts to our meal that I would change up a bit. There where some REALLY great parts as well. The good:I ordered the 14 OZ ribeye. It was absolutely awesome! I can say with absolute certainty it was better than any steak I have ever been served at Malones. The garlic mashed potatoes where good but a little over buttery. The asparagus was flawless. and the onions where nice but I would have liked them caramelized a little more. The sorghum peach glazed pork chops where all the way around REALLY good. The chops where done well without being dried out. The glaze was nice. The cheese grits where pretty good as well (and I don’t care for grits). The burgoo was REALLY good with one exception. It was more sweet than savory. Almost a strange bbq flavor. If the sugar was cut back to a third or less, it would have been outstanding. The stuffed griddle cake that came with the burgoo was stupid good! The bad:The beer cheese is weird. It is cheddar cheese, beer, and horseradish that have been put through the blender. While I applaud the chef’s efforts to create a unique take on an old Kentucky classic, but I feel it misses the mark. There was a nice assortment of veggies to eat along with it but all I really wanted was some crackers, and maybe some celery. The burgoo was too sweet. The long and the short of it is I am interested to try some more of Courtlands offerings in the future. I would also reccomend them to friends to give them a shot. I think there is a lot of potential here.

Gross and sometimes good. Depending how drunk you are or stupid this place is okay. The menu sucks and the food is everyday frozen tasting. Besides that the staff is usually immature and unprofessional. The chef is a plain ole cook- and the cooks have lousy attitudes. This place isn’t better than dennys/ dennys is MUCH better and open all night. All the staff does is hang out and socialize and you can’t even find anyone usually for a minute.
