Time heals all wounds. Friday, April 24th, 7:00pm and it was Very Busy, the waiter was friendly and the service Excellent and the food was Wonderful! And, trust me, I’m not easy.
Bland food. Really bad service. Had to ask for silverware three times. No napkins. Everything was sticky, tablecloth, chairs, etc.
Wonderful Food!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I have to say I am not a fan of Mexican food but I simply love love love this place and the food. This is the only place that I will eat Mexican food!!!!!!!!!!
One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had!. I ate at Durango’s with my son last week. Upon entering the restaurant, there was no clear waiting area. We lingered awkwardly in the doorway for a couple of minutes, and after no acknowledgment, we walked up to a counter in the middle of the restaurant to ask if we seat ourselves, or wait to be seated. We were shown to a seat, and my young son was disappointed to find out that they do not offer coloring pages or crayons for children (not a major gripe, but most Mexican restaurants have them). After being seated, we waited a good 7-8 mins before anyone dropped off chips/salsa, and another 5 mins before our waitress came to take our drink orders. We went ahead and ordered food at the same time, since we’d be waiting so long that we already knew what we wanted. She returned to drop off our drinks, and those were LITERALLY the only two times we saw her. I wanted to ask for another drink (mine was watery and flat), but she never returned. Our food was dropped off very quickly by someone else, who I attempted to ask about a new drink, but he quickly left in the middle of me asking. I finished my drink halfway through the meal, and no one ever brought me a refill. The food was mediocre, but came out to the table quickly – the only positive thing I can say about the meal. After we finished eating, we waited and waited and waited some more for our server to bring us the check. After about 15 mins, we finally walked up to the counter to ask for our check. I left a $1 tip, which I never do…. usually I tip around 20% minimum. I probably should have left nothing, but I felt like it at least made a statement about the service (or lack thereof). My son and I weren’t the only table having issues. I heard the table behind us talking about how bad the service was, and how they’d never return, as well. A genuine apology or acknowledgment of our bad service would have gone a long way… but there was nothing. I don’t understand how we could sit in the restaurant for a good 45 mins and only see our server TWICE (to take orders & drop off drinks). Inexcusable.
This was the worst place ever!!! I will never come again my tacos were old and the tortillias with them where crunchy and nasty. The kids pizza was a school pizza – not that I was expecting much but still 3 dollars for only the pizza no drink no nothing they could have got a better quality
What happened?. This used to be the best Mexican restaurant in town and their bacon wrapped shrimp was amazing. The last 2 times I have been there, the food could not have been worse and the afore mentioned shrimp was inedible (borderline spoiled). A shame.
Went for lunch. Cold bagged chips, bland salsa, fish tacos mostly lettuce, and the slowest service I’ve ever gotten at a Mexican restaurant in Lex. Waited ten minutes for water – the first one, not a refill.
