The best is yet to come. Gourmet eats from a food truck at very reasonable prices. Some days will be better than others as Chef Mark changes the menu daily, according to his ingredients and his whim. There are times when the concatenation of flavors is incroyable. I am anxious to see what will happen with his food when his brick and mortar restaurant (Middle Fork Kitchen Bar) opens next month in the Distillery District off Manchester St.07 Jul, 2014Admittedly, some of Chef Mark’s other creations are even better, but as a Patersonian, hot dogs are in my blood and his Haute Dog is outstanding. Hard to believe such a classy presentation of a hot dog can come off a food truck.

Absolutely incredible. Mark Jensen hand crafts incredible food that matches up perfectly with craft beer. By far the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. His individual take on each item he makes is delicious. Very cool guy, very personable, answered all my questions about his food. Highly recommended.

WOW!. Just tried the okonomiyaki pancake and the korean fried chicken. The pancake was crispy around the edges, and custardy in the middle. The mayo yopping added a nice little twang and the smokey bacon on yhe inside drove home the savory flavor. The korean fried chicken was sweet, sour, spicy, crispy, moist, bliss.

Mobile Madness!!!!. I know that the Food Truck scene in Lexington is growing but I had no idea how far that it had evolved. Formerly my favorite hotdog was the Sonoran Hotdog in Tucson, AZ. I must admit that now my favorite dog is the Haute Dog from here. Dear God the play of flavors is outstanding and almost sexual on the taste buds. The toppings included – crispy pork belly, mustard caviar, celery root relish, green tomato confit, sambal oelek, cucumber noodles, and pickled red onion. This was served on a soft and delishish BBC callah poppy seed bun. You could choose from a all beef frank or a spicy carrot dog for a vegetarian taste. This is one of Lexington’s MUST tries. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The menu is very creative and extrememly visually pleasing as well. I can’t wait to try some items from their other menus, especially their Okonomiyaki and Ramen.
