Enjoy practically everything here. Hot bar, salad bar, soup (cream of asparagus…oh my!), desserts (chocolate mousse!) Always clean and the staff is friendly. Plus…the chocolate milkshakes are my favorite in town.

Basil Verano. This is one my top 5 sandwiches ever. I highly recommend it.

Flavorful. Was that really a mushroom? Gosh it was delicious! What I like are the ingredients listed on the hot bar, genius really and the added sample cups, you can’t go wrong here. Organic, local friendly and just laid back style eating. I like trying to make some of the things on the bar at home. I especially love the bulk spice section in the store. I was able to get some rare spice I barely use for $.29 each. I love the neighborhood it is in too, being from Lexington I can remember when this used to be a Welgo dept store. I love going to look at different ingredients. It is a cooks dream grocery.

Quite Reliable. The hot bar and salad bar at Good Foods always has reliable and diverse selections daily. They also offer grab and go sushi as well as made to order sandwiches and drinks and pastries. Along with the selections from their grocery bulk bins, the variety of good meals to be had is unlimited. We like to try a lot of different and interesting things and Good Foods is a sample Shangri La. We have never had a bad meal, just a few things here and there that may have been a bit dried out or bland. Overall, this is a great place to take anyone to because of the options and positive experiences we have had from dining here.

It’s not a Buffet…..It’s a HOT BAR!. Health food prepared with heart. I truly enjoy dining here before picking up some groceries. Whether it’s a quick lunch or dinner, or just a quick piece of pizza. I’ve never had a bad item here.

This is a hot bar not a buffet. It’s not all you can eat. Anyways, I’ve never had anything bad here. Food is always good. Maybe that’s why they call it good foods 🙂

Good concept. We eat dinner here fairly often, but I have mixed feelings about Good Foods. It’s very convienient. Since it is buffet style you can get just want you want, and best of all the selection is very healthy. And not only is it healthy food it is healthy food that is not boring. But I feel it could be better. Because it is a buffet the food appears to sit out for a long time. The food on the hot bar looks like its been cooking for a long time. Ironically, sometime they have a mixed vegetable dish on the hot bar the seems barely cooked at all.And everytime I’ve been there they are serving fish, but their fish is never any good. The plates are a little small, and while not over priced, it certainly isn’t cheap for what you get. Moreover, I eat here because it is convenient, healthy, and taste good enough.
