Health Meals!. You pay a little more to get good healthy food that contains no pesticides or GMO. Its always fresh. Great variety of great deserts. They have a wide selection of drinks. They make great lunch sandwiches and serve a breakfast bar early and a dinner later in the day so you can eat any of your three meals. They have free WiFi. They have a large meeting room that can be reserved for group meetings. They always have an artist exhibit to support the local arts and give its customers nice artwork to look at while there. The atmosphere is calm and friendly. Sometimes while waiting in line, my food is gets cold at the cost of the restaurant’s employees chatting with customers and themselves is my only complaint. Along with their great grocery store with the best selection of healthy food and products in the region, we are sure glad they are in the neighborhood! One of Lexington’s top destinations.
Uh… it was fresh but healthy???. I see review comments about healthy and wonder what the definition of healthy really is. Some options had no oil or butter product in it but others has some kind of grease on it. Broccoli was loaded with cheese. Salad bar was fresh and inviting but overall this is not likely to be one of our regular stops.
Your selection of fresh fruits, veggies, meats, and just about anything else you can think of. Like a buffet, except you pay by the pound. All the food I have had here is very good so far. My only complaint would be that it seems just a bit pricey (i.e. should have a $$ price rating instead of $). That said, the quality of the food is as good or better than most restaurants with $$ price ratings. If you like fresh, good quality, healthy food, and/or you are a vegetarian/vegan/organic-only/etc. then you have to try Good Foods.
