I went here for a bridal tea. They were more than accommodating. They anticipated all of our needs before we even realized what we wanted. It’s beautiful and antique-like decor makes it homey and comfortable, yet elegant. Don’t even get me started on the food. One of the best meals I have ever had. The food is very rich and flavorful. The desserts weren’t really my taste, but were still very nice.

Linda Parsley, Winchester, KY. A couple of friends and I had lunch here Thursday, June 26. The service was awesome! The chilled cucumber soup, Cherry scone and Tropical chicken salad were delicious! Both of my friends had been there before, so they knew how yummy it was. For me, it was a wonderful dining experience! I plan on telling other friends about Greentree Teahouse and I definitely will be back!
To the previous reviewer: I wasn’t aware Lipton made Darjeeling. I have had only wonderful experiences at the Greentree Tea Room. It is fairly expensive, but it is a dining experience rather than just a place to pick up a meal. The tea sandwiches, soups, teas and desserts are always delicious and served in good combinations. The ambience is pleasant and the service is good. It’s a nice place for a small birthday tea.
It feels like a racket. The concept is a 20 dollar 5 course tea. It begins with soup, then scone, then mini entree, followed by tea sandwiches and pastries, all served with hot tea. Sounds wonderful. It should’ve been wonderful. However, either someone doesn’t know how to cook, or someone just wants to cut corners. Either way, it was disappointing. My friends and I were served cake mix cake with canned icing, slice and bake cookies, a tortilla chip with canned corn on it, and weakly brewed Lipton tea. The building is beautiful, if a bit washed out looking. The service was great, all male waiters in starched shirts holding silver teapots makes the appearance of a lovely high end tea. The food, and even more importantly, the tea, were such a let down! Unfortunately, the experience was not worth the price, and we all left feeling someone was trying to trick us into thinking this was a nice high tea.
