Tasted good but I exected a little more. I read all the great reviews but when I went there I was a bit disappointed. I got a platter and it was just chicken and rice. For the same price at most other Mediterranean I get at least one side (salad, tabbouleh, hummus or soup), and at least some kind of garnish like those little pickles. But I didn’t even get a sprig of parsley. The flavor was good and the tzaziki was good but I didn’t feel like I’d had a meal. The service was so-so.
I’ve had plenty of pedestrian hummus, but this is spectacular. Smooth, not gritty. Tabouli is outstanding. The real deal.
Gyroz Eatery – we needed you!. So many good things to say about Gyroz Eatery – and we now have another Mediterranean place to compete with Sahara on the south end! So to heck with running out of food and standing in long lines – head to Gyroz! First off – the owners are super friendly and helpful. They will take time and explain their specials and menu items. They really want your business and keep you coming back (very kid friendly). Their pricing is very fair and portion sizes are great. We tried several items – the Gyro lunch special with a side of rice w/ drink, the special of the day with Boneless grilled chicken breast over a side of rice, the grilled chicken leg quarter with side of rice. Incredibly tasty food and total for everyone during lunch time was $7 per person after taxes. I highly recommend giving this place a try and adding to your list of favorites.
Pleasantly surprised. We stopped in here tonight to try their beef/lamb gyros. The portion of meat was enormous! Fresh,good flavors, and not greasy. We will deff be back.
Really great chicken rice and garlic sauce. Service is a little surly when it is just the male chef. Good selection of groceries too if you want to make your own hummus, etc
Not good at all. The food arrived cold and just not very tasty. The Greek salad was not fresh. The humus was accompanied by a single pita and was flavorless. I will not order from here again.
Great spot for lunch…or dinner. Gyroz has a great lunch special for $4.99 that I usually get but their gyro sandwiches and greek salad are also delicious too. The family that owns it are so friendly and the service is great!
