I’m not sure how this place seems to have a more authentic feel towards some Irish inspired drinkeries than my home town in Saint Paul, but I’m impressed. The decor is great, from the all wood bar brandishing names of horse ranches and horses the owners have an association with, to the attention of the Guinness pour, this place has managed to chock up quite an identity over the last 18 years it’s been here. The stereo plays Irish folk music with an Amero-country twang. They even have an Irish band play the first Thursday every month. I’m not Irish, but I dig the personality of this joint. Too bad these guys don’t have a menu to judge, but they do have a Thai place next door that are happy to deliver spicy, toilet hugging Asian cousins. They also have a man in a yellow shirt bragging about a batch of his fresh farmed eggs, and telling the bar tender which color is best. Go ahead. Ask about it. Check this place out when your making the rounds towards Jefferson. I sure as hell am…
