I love the Mellow Mushroom! It’s one of my top favorite pizza places! The atmosphere is relaxing and I love the hippie feel of everything. Great place for drinks, pizza and a good time! Definitely recommend!
Really Good. Their salads are so good. I’m vegan and gluten free so I’m kind of a difficult person to go out to eat with, but I love this place because they have both options. The ingredients are always fresh, and the staff is always friendly and fast. The atmosphere is good. Their tempeh is really really good. I have gotten their gluten free crust, which reminds me a whole lot of the Namaste brand pizza crust both in look and taste. It’s good, just thin. The toppings are really good. Overall I love this place.
Best Pizza in Town. We love this place. The pizza is awesome. The worst part is the wait to get in and even if you can. They have trivia night once a week and it’s near impossible to get a table. The parking can be tricky, but the pizza and pretzels are to die for. Must try if you go to UK or are near campus. The beer selection is great too. Prefer Mellow Mushroom over Pazzos.

Magnificently Mellow Mushroom. First time ever at a Mellow Mushroom. It was honestly one of the coolest pizza places I’ve ever been. I love the hippie/60’s theme and all of the hand panted random tables and picnic tables and it’s just overall very cool. It was really packed and we had to wait awhile but that’s kind of expected in a popular place. Frankly I was surprised that we got everything as quick as we did. I didn’t know where to start with all of the new pizza options so I picked the one with pineapple (I love pineapple on pizza) and had them put it in a calzone (thinking it would be a better personal serving. It was a great idea and I plan on doing it every time I go there until I’ve tried them all. I had never had a pizza with pesto on it before but it was delicious. I’d totally go back here. ^-^ I’m glad my best friend took me.
We used to come into the mellow on frequent occasions. Lately the staff isn’t the same. They lost people that really made the restaurant great! Cheesecake, I believe it was a nickname, was the best! Always friendly and attentive. Sweet girl. Still love the food , that will never change! Would love to see the old staff!
