Dry flat hamburgers. Dear Sawyers,If you are going to be charging $7 for a burger, it should be good, so here’s a couple tips:1) Hamburgers should not be dry.2) If you are going to smash your burgers flat, preventing them from retaining any juice, you should steam them on something like a bed of onions, or maybe just not smash them flat.The fries were good, though.
Great Burgers – Terrible Customer Service. Although the food was good the customer service we received was terrible. It is sad that it only takes one member of the staff to degrade the overall quality. If you are looking for service with a smile this is not the place you want to be.
Awesome Burger!. I would rate Sawyer’s Downtown as one of my 3 top burger places in Lexington, KY. Always a tasty burger and you get as many toppings as you want!! A salad bar full of them!! Neat atomsphere too .. I love the 80’s music. 🙂
There is only one thing I get at Sawyer’s: The Cheeseburger.+ Excellent cheeseburger+ Multiple cheeses to choose from+ Nice burger bar to fix your burger just like you want it+ Lots of windows make for a nice atmosphereTIP #1: Note that there are two seating areas, one for table service and one for placing your order at the register (which I always do). Don’t sit in the wrong area!TIP #2: If there is no mayo at the pumps at the end of the bar, look for mayo packets in a basket (which may be near the drink machine).

Chili was really good. Salad was a big regret. Brown iceberg lettuce. Next time I will splurge on the burger. They looked and smelled wonderful!
