This place is super cute and had the most incredible menu. Everything you could want for brunch, lunch, and dinner! Had hummus for app then a crepe and mushroom Alfredo pasta. So good! Try it sometime.
Where do I begin, one of the worst dining experiences. Total confusion from the moment we walked in the place. We were told it would be 30 minutes for a table which was fine, so we went to the bar. Had to flag down server after long wait but was told she couldn’t get to us. Out of unsweet tea so ordered green tea that was forgotten several times. Server told us the hostess thought we were eating in the bar, which wasn’t true because the table top seemed detached from the base. Eventually got seated but no server came and we had to flag one down after another long wait. After more excuses and telling us we would receive the best service he could handle with the other tables when most other customers departed. Long wait for food, the Rueben was cold and soggy, snapper was tasteless and the burger had a hair between the bun and the meat. Pancakes were ordered as a replacement and a club was brought instead. Sangria was completely tasteless, bills were incorrect and manager was insincere. We approached him, you would think if some me has a hair in their meal the manager would be proactive. Would not recommend!
My friends and I capped off or day in Lexington by coming here for dinner. We loved it. The hosts was super friendly despite how busy they were. Our server was incredibly sweet and helpful. The food was delicious. We had two pizzas, the lamb skewers, a cob salad, pasta, and a burger. Everyone loved their meal. Then two of us had the chocolate crepe for dessert. Go, go just for the crepe. I had the goat cheese and herb pizza and it was the best pizza of that style I’d had in a long time, truly delicious.
Such a cute little restaurant! They have so many options for food and it’s a very classy place. Great for a girl date or mom daughter date. Our waiter was kinda weird but still a fun experience!
TO BE, OR NOT TO BE: THAT IS THE QUESTION.. This place is not my cup of tea, so my review will be focused on some observations which do not necessarily pertain to the food.Food is overpriced. Service is extremely slow, all aspects. The little cloth thing which the waitstaff uses to bring your check, change, or receipt needs to be washed. All of us at the table commented how dirty the cloth was–no one wanted to touch it.
This is the best place to go and have a snack or light meal!! Me and my girlfriends come here all the time an have are relax time and we sit for ever and sip on wine and enjoy are meals! This place is one of my fav. I love it so much!
WORST MANAGING STAFF. We went to Shakespeare & Co downtown. The waitress was excellent but the managers are beyond inept. We waited for 45 minutes for food and when we asked how much longer we were told another 10 minutes. 50 minutes for a sandwich and crepe!! The manager offered only flimsy excuses and no compensation for our time. Just completely void of any customer service attitude whatsoever. When the food arrived it was COLD!! The cheese on the sandwich wasn’t even melted. Such a bad response from the manager on duty we got up and walked out.
