This place is amazing. My husband and I went around 5pm it was only us and we got to sit where ever we wanted! Wonderful oversized couch to relax on and over look downtown Lex. The prime rib mini burgers where melt in your mouth and the potatoes had such an amazing flavor! The chefs special wasa chicken pasta with a cream sauce and veggies. The flavor was amazing! It was a perfect creamy and sweet delicate taste. We requested to talk to the chef and he came to us and talked to us about these dishes personally and I gave him a huge hug! Amazing place before the craziness of the night life.

Pasta. I recently ate at Skybar in downtown Lexington. I tried their white wine chicken pasta. It was amazing! The vegetables were cooked perfectly, the chicken was quality and juicy and the pasta was light and cooked al dente…it was healthy, filling and extremely tasty! Two forks and a spoon up! Also wanted to mention the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions.
Nice atmosphere. You pay for the atmosphere but a great place for your group of girlfriends. Would recommend!
Terrible service!. It was like the servers and bartenders had to know that you were going to leave a substantial tip before they would look at you. It was a very snooty atmosphere. We could hardly get a drink bc we had to flag down the server to get her to come to the table. The martinis we had were okay but definitely not worth the 12 dollar price tag. We got there around 8:30 and at 9ish they tried to move the atmosphere from restaurant to bar and even though there was hardly anyone in the place, they turned the music up so loud that you had to scream at the person sitting next to you to be heard. You couldn’t pay me to go back there.
Incredible. The view is gorgeous, beautiful decor inside and very comfortable seating. Staff was very friendly, service great, and my food was soooo good! Pixie stick martini is a must, and a great beer selection. Not a bad thing I can say about this place. Will definitely be going back!
Snootier than thou. Skybar doesn’t want your business. In spite of empty bar seats and tables, we were turned away. I tried to make reservations on their old-fashioned reservation line but never received a response. Open Table, anyone? The drinks and food are fabulous if you can get a table, but the attitude is off-putting and, frankly, unfounded. The view is lovely, but I’ve been to nicer places with friendlier staff.
