<3 What a cozy and comfortable little spot. It puts you in mind of a small town, main street establishment instead of downtown Lexington. We just loved it. We had a special request (brownies slightly heated and topped with ice cream) and they were happy to oblige. This is not fancy but comfy like grandmas kitchen. Did I mention we loved it? Good tastes, comfy atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. Perfect little spot to walk to from Rupp or the Explorium around the corner.

Such a Sweet Spot!!!. What a wonderful place right downtown! Today my co-worker and I were trying to get a quick, inexpensive lunch after 2 (when all the lunch spots stop serving) downtown. I had been before but only for the red velvet cake balls and even that had been a while so when I saw the serving lunch sign in the window we had to stop. I had a club sandwich with potato salad and sweet tea, my friend had the buffalo chicken wrap with kettle chips and lemonade. Everything was delicious and about $8 each. We shared a cake ball and icecream, which was discounted because we had eaten lunch and it was amazing. They have sidewalk patio seating, I love being in the middle of everything and people watching but if that’s not your thing inside was very inviting with that old school downtown charm. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be adding The Sweet Spot to my lunch spot lineup.
