I’ve been to The Village Idiot several times, and I’ve never had a bad meal here. The idiot burger and the bacon-wrapped dates are amazing. Great beer selection. Attentive service. Warm, comfortable atmosphere.
Great vibe, with a great selection of beers, including some local flavors. Try The Idiot burger – 1/2 pounder topped with an onion ring filled with pulled pork. For real.
Just ok. Service awful.. The food and drinks are alright. Our server pointed out how all the specialty cocktails are terrible. Then he was extremely rude. Left us waiting with our cards out to pay for 20 minutes. Then said nothing when he dropped them back off. I’m over this place.
Food’s good, service pleasent enough, but whoever decided on the headbanger heavy metal music upstairs should be shot!
BLAH!!. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! I had been wanting to try this place out for awhile, what a let down! We were seated pretty quickly, but the waiter took FOREVER to welcome us with water. There were lots of empty tables so I’m not sure what the problem was?! Once we ordered the food came pretty quickly. However, it was overcooked and dry. I ordered a pepper jack cheeseburger, medium cooked, and fries…..simple, right? Who screws up a cheeseburger?!! My husbands was overcooked too! Needless to say we left the restaurant hungry and disappointed.
