An institution, but not without some imperfections. Expect slow, albeit friendly, service, but an overall fun and positive atmosphere (could be cleaner). In my opinion, Tolly-Ho serves one of the better burgers in town, which is my usual go-to (with fries or tots), but some of its other menu items are lacking. I recently ordered the biscuit and gravy – I thought the biscuit seemed frozen and the gravy was runny and under-seasoned; I also ordered the veggie omelet with American cheese (green peppers, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes), but it was slightly undercooked (cheese was barely melted), served with four pieces of buttered toast. Tolly-Ho is an experience, and certainly worth a visit, but only for some select items.
