Very disappointed in dinner here recently. Special grilled appetizer room temperature, grilled Chicken Yakatori skewers not grilled at all, looked baked. Miso soup was the only thing I’d classify as good. I’ve been increasingly dissapointed in this restaurant and won’t be going back. Long time sushi fan, I expect better, especially at these prices.
We will be back!. We had a great time at Tomo. The Sushi were delicious and the service great. We got to seat at the bar and were able to watch the owner at work. Fish and ingredients were fresh and we all left this place happy. We will be back 🙂
Long Term Fave. We have also been eating there since it was Sushi Zen, with the door opening out onto the drive-in window of a liquor store and a TV that once showed Hollywood Squares while we ate.Tomo is consistently excellent. Never had anything other than terrific food there.
Over priced for small portion. The sushi tasted very fishy, its definitely not supposed to taste that way. Nice and clean ambiance but I wont return.
Try the Tango Mango roll–outstanding.
Very pricey and small rolls but they nail it with the freshness. Great place to take a date.
Enjoyable!. I’m a vegetarian and finding places to eat out with vegetarian options in the south is difficult. In most restaurants it’s hard to find a dish that doesn’t include chicken, beef, pork, bacon, ham, etc…At Tomo, I was pleased with their vegetarian options. We had a great appetizer and a few of their different veggie rolls. It was all great. Obviously, I can’t speak for their non-veggie dishes…The service was excellent. We’ll certainly be back for more! Thanks!
