Blah. The food would have been amazing had they at least heated up their mashed potatoes that had been hanging out for a long time in the microwave. The mashed potatoes had a great flavor, but were obviously from several hours before. The green beans were frozen and terrible. The fried chicken was amazing though and probably the only redeeming quality.
Typical poor hotel food. Had to send my ravioli dish back to the kitchen because the cream used in the sauce was sour. It would have been a decent dish otherwise. The butter served with the bread was a day away from being rancid.
Good southern food. Great southern service and hospitality.
Fantastic. Everything we had was superb! The fried green tomatoes were some if not the best I’ve had. The southern comfort was fabulous the fried chicken was so moist and juicy inside but good and crispy on the out side. My husband had a steak and it was great as well he didn’t let me try much of it. The creme brulee we had for dessert was perfect. Then to top it off the staff were EXCELLENT our waitress was super sweet fast and very informative and had great suggestions. The Manager Bryan was great as well coming around to check on everything and making sure all was well. Hats off to the chef also. We will go back for sure.
Again – Very Delicious!. Had lunch today and ordered from the daily menu, the chef does a wonderful job! I ordered Talipia with Banana Pepper Slaw & Corn fritters. It was absolutely delicious! If you haven’t been you need to go. Service was excellent and atmosphere is great!26 Oct, 2010Delicious. I had lunch there today, they have a new menu…I ordered the Limestone Bibb Salad which has grilled shrimp in it. The salad was wonderful, It could have used some more shrimp in it but still delicious. I got to meet the new chef and try the Banana Pudding, Brownie, Fosters thingy dessert…Very good! Come and check it out and enjoy a nice lunch!
Crispy rainbow trout – amazing!. The executive chef clearly knows what he’s doing. The trout was dusted with cornmeal yet incredibly moist with a hint of lemon and honey. Brilliant! Served with garlic spinach and perfectly prepared whipped sweet potatoes. Food here is fresh with a truly creative flair that is not overdone. Seasonings are subtle yet distinctive.
