My friend and I, ate here. We ordered a gyro sandwich and small pepperoni pizza, and they were very good and the price was great. Her pizza was very cheesy, and the ciabatta bread was delish and soft.
Hot Wings. The wings are spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. You get 10 large wings per order with Garlic Sauce on the side. They aren’t the greatest wings we’ve ever had, but they are far from the being the worst. We never hesitate to order these as a side or a meal of their own.04 Feb, 2012Dinner salad. We get tired of places that offer only onions, mushrooms, and green peppers for their vegetable toppings. We highly recommend their eggplant which has a good flavor. They have innovative pizza combinations, like the Malibu Barbie and the sandwiches and calzones are delicious as well.The only downfall for LA Gourmet is the when its bad, its really really bad. We once waited nearly an hour for our carry-out order. Come to find out, they had sent a driver to their other store to fetch wings for our order. They wouldn’t bother telling us that they were out of them and were reluctant to refund us money for waiting. They eventually gave us a steep discount, but it took a while for them to right such a huge wrong.As long as incidents like that stay uncommon, we’ll keep coming back.
