A Definite Do Again. The best cosmopolitan and eggplant parm ever. Basil dressing is excellent. Tiramisu right up with the best. I have no complaint whatsoever.
Twice is Nice. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. I’ve been twice and both times I’ve gotten the Manicotti Gamberto-I think that’s what it’s called. It’s a delicious mix of ricotta, shrimp and pasta. The only complaint I have about the dish is that it’s almost too rich. I had a salad and lots of water to help cut the richness of the dish. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable and overall it was a great dine-in experience. I would recommend this place.
Went on a Saturday night, and only two servers for whole restaurant. Very slow service. Food was very bland and had no taste. I had much better food at olive garden. Also, way over priced. Not going back.
Very bad service. We dinned here for the first time this evening. We had high expectations from viewing the menu prior to arriving. Unfortunately, we were let down. The service was very very slow, taking 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive. Other patrons arriving much later received their food before us, with no explanation from our server. The outdoor patio was very nice, as was the appetizer, bruschetta. That is about all the compliments I can give to this restaurant. The food was decent, but nothing spectacular. We were also unhappy that they were allowing a patron sitting next to us smoke cigarettes while others were dinning and trying to enjoy their meals. The biggest shocker, and probably the main reason that we will not be returning or recommending this restaurant is that we were charged a 20% gratuity on a party of 2 because we had a Restaurant.com certificate. We were never made privy to this charge from our server, nor was there any signage or notes anywhere on the menu or website. It just appeared on our final receipt, after our card had been charged. When we asked another server about the charge, she informed us that it is a charge imposed by the owner, at her discretion because past guests had not compensated the servers to their liking. We can definitely understand this rule, but were appalled to see the charge just appear on our final receipt without anyone bothering to inform us of the nature of the charge. This was done in very bad taste, in our option, thus, making us shy away from ever returning to this establishment
I’ve loved everything I’ve tried at Amici and the staff is knowledgeable and so sweet!
Tomato Artichoke Soup. I just ate lunch here this afternoon, and it is the cutest restaurant! I had the tomato artichoke soup, my boss had a salad, and another woman had the meatball sandwich, and all three were great! Also, they are participating in 502 Restaurant Week which is coming up soon! Keep up the good work Amici Cafe!
Quaint ~very flavorful dish ~ grilled chicken cappilinni was very good & full of sun dried tomatoes & other tasty morsels. Service was great, food was great, the deserts looked very good but I was too full :o) I recommend this place ~
