Amazing. I had the Beef Gorgonzola at lunch and it was stupid good! Also the place was kind of old but not rusty, still can appreciate the elegance of it. Good prices by the way!
One of the more underrated restaurants in Louisville in my opinion. The menu isn’t flashy or over the top, but the food prep and quality is exceptional, the service is always outstanding, and we always have a really great evening in a very understated way.
My husband and I had dinner at Bucks and we enjoyed our evening. The atmosphere is great and unique. When you enter, you are surrounded by beautiful white flowers in vases around the bar and a wonderful piano player. The restaurant looks old and historic but I am not sure of its history. We were there for a private party so we were limited to a few dishes (vs the full menu). Our food was good but I would much prefer the full menu. We had wonderful service. We aren’t bourbon drinkers but apparently the selection here is nice. I saw this restaurant featured on a dining show once and the spot was nice and made me want to return.
Scallops and Brussels sprouts were delish!! Will definitely return!!
Good food, Worst Customer Service. We were served good food but experienced worst service by a restaurant in Louisville. Although this place was not in the best area of town we took a leap of faith with a groupon and reviews and decided to try it out. We had a groupon for $80 value and the bill was $87, the restaurant manager refused to honor the groupon and took $40 off the bill saying things like that they are not a non-profit business and in the business for making money, making us feel really bad. I asked the that all the groupon listed fine print is valid then why would she take that position and risk losing customers. I asked her for a complaint form and her name and i was sent a restaurant card back with her name on it. I asked that so i dont get any benefit for buying the groupon for $40 giving me $80 value if all she is taking off the bill is $40 and she told me that i would have to order one more entree in order to use groupon, although the groupon listed no such condition. We ordered one more entree and waitied for one more hour before we were allowed to use our groupon.I advise restaurant goers to be very aware of this establishments non-ethical practices when visiting this place.
Amazing! My boss took some of us there for lunch and I got the risotto with sweet potatoes. I don’t usually have a strong reaction to food, but this was palette-changing!
