Good food, but had to wait over an hour after ordering to get it. Something needs to change because Burger Boy is growing a reputation for taking a long time to serve its customers.
Took a Gamble and stopped here on our way through town based on reviews and cheap prices. They have a new menu and their prices were at least double from what I expected. I was excited to see bison on the menu, but they were out. Three of us got burgers and they were good, but nothing I would ever return for. The service was horrible and we waited almost an hour for our food. Our server was so laxidasicle I swear he was on something. Probably a good idea that they didn’t ask me how my meal was. On a positive note, the place did have some charm.
The last 2 times I’ve called in a take out order here, I arrive and they say we never took your order. The last time made me particulary mad because they had 2 other customers in the restaurant. Also I ate out on the patio a couple months ago and I guess the waitress saw one of her friends and was venting in front of other customers (one was a child) about management and using f**k like she just discovered the word, very unprofessional… But hey at least the food is good.
Never again. Went in around noon on Sunday. The place had several empty tables. We had to clean our own table to sit down. A nice guy came over took our drink order and we got our drinks then sat Over 30 minutes with out anyone taking our order or acknowledging us… So we left. We tried to go there a couple months ago and they were cash only and their ATM was broken. So we had to leave then too.We did have a good experience when we went 3 years ago. So I give up, it shouldn’t be that hard to give someone your business.
Burger Boy. Delicious burger and fries….four of us and we were the only there….service was good and the people there were very friendly. Definitely would go there again.
Poor Service. Service is always SUPER slow and if you have any requests for your meal forget it. Ordered a sausage, egg, cheese, mushroom and pepper omelette with hashbrowns. Mushrooms in the hashbrowns, nothing but meat, egg and cheese on my omelette. Sent it back two times without it being right and finally gave up. I’ve been here no less than 10 times and had something similar happen EVERY time. The food is good, but the fact that they can’t get an order right and they’re super slow negates any good qualities of their food. I won’t go back.
Late night??. What a joke. I’ve been coming here for 10 years since it was still Juanita’s. The service is amazingly poor. Staff doesn’t know the menu. They don’t accept carry out via phone past midnight (if you can get them to answer the phone). They were out of the first three items I ordered when I drove down for food. I was told I couldn’t get two of the items they actually had because they were out of to-go boxes. I feel bad for the people that work for the cheap, jaded owners. Get it together. I guess there’s a reason the place had always been packed prior and was empty (one other customer) tonight. Best of luck. Sorry to the people that work there now
