Rude Service – gave mom raw refrigerated cold chicken.. Ate there this afternoon with my mom. Her children wasn’t fully cooked it was refrigerator COLD in middle. People that work here are rude refused to make right no apologies. Counter girls don’t smile or make customer feel welcome. After my mom complained they went to back lots loud yelling in Chinese finally offered to remake only after a lot of confusion and rudeness. We don’t get to eat out often and this ruined a special treat.I have never seen people who own a restaurant treat their customers with so little gratitude. The older woman was obviously the owner or the manager and she treated us with little regard to making us feel welcome. No smile, no thank you, no welcome to chong garden. When we walked in to order just looked at us like we were interrupting her day.After they treated my mom so terribly I did not enjoy my meal… and I certainly won’t be going back there any time soon.

When I moved here from Miami I tried so many Chinese restaurants; I was always disappointed, until I found Chong garden this place is really great at what they do. Good Chinese food. Try the schezuan my favorite.
Best in the South End. I’ve been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Pan (I think that’s her name) has never screwed up my order. The food has always been good. I very rarely tip a carryout, but this place is the exception. I haven’t even tried the new kid on the block, that’s how loyal I am to these guys. For Chinese, you can’t go wrong at Chong.
Try the crab rangoon preferably carryout , good food. decent prices.
