Food and Service is Always Awesome!. Cristi’s Cafe has THE BEST CHICKEN FRIED STEAK! I always ate other items on the menu until I decided to give it a try and I have been hooked ever since! I mean their other food is great too! It never disappoints!
Meh. The dinner selection and breakfast sandwiches are great, however I got an order of their biscuits and gravy once, and the gravy was SOUR. Also, the young ladies in the establishment need to understand what time management and customer service means. They are on their phones WAY too much and it takes them forever to bring you a drink. I’ve been a waitress and hostess before…and it’s not rocket science. People caught on their cell phones were warned once, and the second time fired. Obviously the owner/manager doesn’t focus on meetings or additional training to bring this to attention. Thankfully there are good cooks in the back, otherwise this business would diminish quickly.
Different between corn bread and pancakes. I had the country fried steak dinner which was good. But I ask for corn bread and I got pancakes. Don’t your cook no the differents between corn bread and pancakes. I don’t think so. Someone needs to show them that the two are totally different and taste different.
Ehhh. There food is good. But it taste different Everytime . Also they need to have a no cell phone policy . These young kids need to stay off there phones & do there job !!
Good food, service and prices. Had avoided it based on one persons experience when it first opened. Glad we gave it a try, ate there Saturday and Sunday. Bigmouth burger is my favorite. Country fried steak is the best I have tasted in years.
They’re food was excellent but they’re service was horrible . The girl seriously ignored us. also she forgot to bring me my coffee . Instead of getting our drinks, she sat there & took selfies & the other girl looked like she just came in from a hang over . They have too many young girls, who aren’t doing there job . I won’t be back !!!
Colorful and always buzzing with conversation…only topped by the great home-style food! Love this little jewel of Louisville’s south end!
