Bland and uninspired, even the drinks are weak. I’m not expected authentic Mexican fare. I rank El Nopal over them. I’ve eaten there three times and each time I’ve been disappointed.
Great food and great attention. Also a good price. They give you free nachos and 2 sauces just when you sit. The fajitas are great!Super recommended.
Last two times we have been here seated in different sections with different wait staff, we have been served cold food and ignored by the person waiting on us. All the years coming here we have never had such bad service. If you don’t like kids then do not work in a public place where they are going to be.
A high energy atmosphere full of flavor and personality. I worked here for a short time and was impressed by the intensive training and knowledge expected of each server. You can watch the tortillas come to life as they are crafted by expert hands. Every sauce has a life of its own and you should always ask about dishes you’re interested in and about what sauce may make it your new favorite! An excellent spot for lovers of all things spicy; ask about the boom boom sauce and chili infused tequila!
Cilantro is in EVERYTHING. While I understand that it is a very typical spice used in Mexican cuisine, I was extremely disappointed that the only vegetarian cilantro-free dish for a cheese quesadilla. I won’t be back…
It’s pretty standard Mexican, what you would expect from a chain. They seem to be trying to promote their special sauces. It’s OK for lunch when going to mall near by. My one real complaint is it’s rather loud. They seem to really crank the jams. What they do do, which is kind neat, although it has nothing to do with the food, is if you bring in a picture of your dog you get a free appetizer. And, we did, we brought in a picture of Max, but they never put it up. I kind of understand it. He’s so adorable his picture would probably cause a commotion.
Fajitas for two. My husband and I stopped in for a fajita for two. It was horrible! The meat was full of gristle, was not braised properly. There were hardly any oni ons or peppers, and one of the wraps was still frozen. I wished I had made a scene and left. But instead we will ever return!
