Came in for the first and only time! Service was beyond horrible. The pasta was just as all the other reviews warned, swimming in a pool of cold water. My wine was hot. It was just a vey bad experience and to make matter worse the food made me sick the whole night! Trust me save your self the time and hassle and do not even bother to eat this mess!!!! Im so sorry i tried to support a local place thats so close to home!
This is one of my all time favorite places in Louisville. It’s the very definition of a local dive. I’ve never been a big Italian fan but there’s something about this place that brings be back. I normally get the pasta bolognese which is fantastic. Pizza is ok nothing special. I mostly keep going back just for the special character of the place. This is one of the places I bring out of town guests if they want a Louisville dining experience.
The fettucini Alfredo does not disappoint! This well seasoned establishment provides a down home atmosphere with scratch made menu items. Worth the drive and the time to check it out!
Dirty restaurant. Busboy wipes off table tops and brushes crumbs onto the floor. Be sure to inspect your chair or bench before you sit because those are cleaned at all. Dim lighting makes it all the harder to see how dirty the place is.
Our server was very nice, but the food was disappointing. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce had little flavor. The meatballs were lukewarm.
I went to this establishment for the first time last night. I can see why it is so busy. The wontons are amazing and the Italian hot brown is the best thing I have ever eaten. The portion was so huge, I had to take 3/4 of it home. This small place is amazing.
