Cottage Charm. Been enjoying fried chicken here for years!Coconut pie is yummy! Quaint cottage ambiance. And you never know who you’ll run into! Once we sat next to Pat Day! The kids love the goldfish in the small pond out front. Kids of all ages!
Well….. First visit and was disappointed. I ordered the hot brown and mashed potatoes and gravy. The chunks of Turkey were real turkey and tasted good. Bacon and bread and tomatoes were good quality but the cheese sauce was tasteless. It was watery and the dish was drenched in it. It can’t possibly be homemade. I think someone opens a pack of cheese powder and mixes it. So bad. Don’t order it.Next are the mashed potatoes. They are homemade but again tasteless. Please mix in some milk and butter! To go to the trouble of peeling potatoes and mashing them w/o seasoning them properly is a waste.I will come back because several people assure me the fried chicken is very good. I always try a restaurant twice before I give up.
