Total disappointment. My wife and I went on Valentine’s Day and I totally regret it. The ambiance was great, but the meal wasn’t. It seems as though the meals are rationed to you as if you’re in the military. The portions were extremely small, but the price was enormous. Will not dine there again.
HORRIBLE service! Ridiculously small portions. Food isn’t that great, drinks are good; however, will not be back.
If I had to describe Decca in one word, it would be fabulous. The staff was gracious and friendly, the food superb, and the decor welcoming. We sat outside on the upper patio, there was a live band playing at the perfect volume on the lower patio. Appetizers; mussels (divine!!!), liver pt (my first time trying, I’m still thinking about how great it was), and diver scallop crudot (outstanding flavor). They had a melon salad as a special, the play on savory/sweet/texture was a definate treat. Entrees; pork chop, steak & bass. Our table of 7 were amazed at the flavors, so tasty!! Deserts; peach and blueberry cobbler, chocolate cake, ice cream – so decadent and oh so good.I thought the prices and portions were in line with the quality and restaurant location. The cocktails were clever, and complimented the food nicely. I enjoyed the lady bird, the hot lips was also a table favorite.my dining companions and I spent 3 hours there, and it felt like 15 minutes. It was one of the best dinners we’ve shared, and we’ve taken meals together all over Louisville, as well as several other cities.

Food and atmosphere is great– as is the band — but the volume is a conversation killer. Too loud for a good meal with friends.
The waitstaff and front of the house staff are gracious and professional. The two-tops are too close together. Inside -especially upstairs is too loud. We asked to sit outside and were told we would have to wait 30 minutes. But we were directed to the basement bar: a wonderful, comfortable place to have one of Decca’s signature no-alcohol cocktails and a craft (reasonably priced) beer. Our table outside was lovely – until the band started up, and we could not hear each other. Our appetizers were fabulous (mussels and Bibb lettuce salad). But the entree didn’t arrive for almost an hour later. The New York strip was half a strip and rare, not medium rare. The four lamb chops were small but well-cooked. Overall – a place to have a drink and listen to music. Dinner? Hmmm
Over priced,ridiculously small portions. We are from Miami and use to high end / expensive restaurants. However, when we went to Decca, we experienced a new side of disgust and wastefulness. Our pre fixed meal at Decca cost $85 per person. It included 3 courses, all of which would have left a doll hungry. The food was good, but portions so small that we were turned off. My husbands dessert was the size of a quarter. The meal would have been worth it at $40 per person. Think twice before going. South Beach has better portions and prices.
