This used to be a place I would recommend until last night. My wife and I went there for one drink after Valentine’s dinner at another local restaurant. As a native of this city I try to support originals but this one is a joke. The angry basement bar manager took my one drink away from me after I set it on the ground next to my chair, there was no table nearby. He then called me names and asked me to leave. Thankfully I had enough class not to throw him and his pissy coworkers into oncoming traffic on Market. Buy your overpriced drinks somewhere else. This place is doomed to fail.
Expensive but typically worth it. Creative menu very well executed, and if it’s good weather a beautiful patio for both dining and drinks. The basement bar is one of my favorite cocktail places in the city with outstanding craft drinks and terrific bartenders.
