Doc's Cantina, 1201 River Road, is a South of the Border concept located where the Ohio River meets the Big Four walking bridge in Louisville's Waterfront Park. The Mex-Mex restaurant is open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. for lunch, dinner and brunch on weekends. To-go orders are available through a carry-out entrance. The menu features traditional Latin street food and drink including margaritas and sangria by the glass or pitcher. A wall of windows, patio dining along the river and a large private event space complete the restaurant.
