Good carna tacos, good sauce, cheap beer. What more does one need. Best in the area for quick cheap eats. I will for sure be going again – great lunch or light evening meal.
Hyped up!. Went there on Cinco-de mayo and disappointed. Got the shrimp fajita and the the see food soup. The fajita was ok I would say edible and not too bad. The see food soup needs more seasoning or it must have been cooked for a longer time, either way the soup tasted pretty raw. I like hole in the wall places that focuses on food and not on the ambiance, but this place is a hole in the wall and not so great. It sure is authentic, not like your chains that serve burrito and cheesy sauce. sorry, i am not buying the hype and not going to recommend it !
I agree Trent…this place is fabulous. They have had several raving reviews in the Louisville insider, Louisville Hotbytes, and two in the Leo. My guess from the pictures posted is some folks may have given their old place a thumbs down (hole in the wall). This new location is very nice and modern. Love it! My fav. Mexican food in Louisville. One more note the Facebook link is incorrect. Correct page is Elmolcajete/Louisville.
65%…. really…?. How can anyone who has been to other Mexican Restaurants in Louisville give this place a down vote? This place is well beyond anything Louisville has as far as Mexican food is considered.
