Went for lunch, and enjoyed it. The service was super friendly and helpful. We got the guacamole and both got burritos, one with the pulled pork, one with bison. It was all good. Although, I have no complaints about the food, I wish I had been a little adventurous with my selection. I suppose it will give me something to look forward to when I go back. It seems to me that people that have given negative reviews did so because of the super high expectations they may have had, expectations that probably never could have been met, and believe me I’ve similar expectations of other places that I’ve been to. But, really, it’s just a very casual place, with, I thought, fresh well prepared food.

Fact: The queso is one of a kind delicious!!!Fact: The owner might kick you out for being a conservative so don’t go in there talking politics or religion or you could wind up getting escorted out.. I did and I did. Maybe I just expected too much because of the hype that this place is amazing. It was alright. We had guacamole and it was just ok. The chips are good. I had soft tacos with bison. I ordered pork but they messed it up and put the bison in. I was too hungry to send it back or say anything. I don’t understand why people rave about this place.
I eat here a few times a month, and everything I’ve had has been wonderful!I love the quality of ingredients used in the dishes, great use of seasonal veggies in the specials.Their house margarita is delicious and strong, but also try their basil paloma. There is a very neighborly vibe here, plenty of regulars. When I have visitors from out of town this is my go-to for them.

Very authentic with good food/drinks. My fave mexican restaurant in town. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Amazing fish tacos!! Strong but DELISH margs (be careful they’ll sneak up on you!) and cute upstairs area or out on patio in the summer. Street parking and cash only.
Lived here over 4 years and have heard so much about El Mundo, but haven’t been til tonight. I must say it delivered!! The food was awesome. I had the Chile Relleno with shredded chicken and it was delicious. I can say the best Chile Relleno I’ve ever had. Atmosphere was a bit loud and cramped…more loud young children than I expected.
