We just moved here and wanted some Chinese. I ordered chicken fried rice; it’s my usual. It was alright. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t special. I’m still looking for one that adds green onions and sprouts. My BF had the Szechuan beef. He said it was good and could have been spicier.
Nun better. We live in Fern creek and over the years Hunan Wok has become the benchmark for all others to be compared to, even on vacation or in different states we often say over dinner that it’s not as good as Hunan which is usually met with an agreeing look from the family. I’m not saying there is no better but it’s pretty darn good!
It’s the Real Thing. My wife and I have traveled extensively in China, and this is the closest to the real deal we have found in Louisville so far. One of our favorite restaurants, and very reasonably priced.
Friendly staff, clean store. Food was very good for Chinese fast food. I’ve not tried more than probably 6 Chinese restaurants in Lou, but this is the best I have tried.
This is the best Chinese food in Louisville! Meticulously clean every time we go in and the two Chinese people that work here are some of the nicest people we know! They have loads of menu items (many we were used to in the UK and Ireland that we cant find elsewhere) and everthing I have tried has been fantastic!
Best place for Chinese in town. Fresh food, friendly service, clean dining area, & as of 1/25/13, the health dept rating is 98%. They treat you like family, don’t over charge for anything & the portions are HUGE! I am now a regular. Beats the other Fern Creek Chinese (Double Dragon by Kroger) hands down!
This place honestly has some of the best chinese food in The Ville. Great food, great prices. Huge portions! The people who run the place are always very kind. A++ in my book
