This place was recommended to us by a fellow foodie who is a Louisville local. He did not steer us wrongly great pizza! We were a party of 5 big hungry guys in town for a conference. We ordered three 14 pizzas, and had the equivalent of nearly one full pizza left over we could put down no more. We got the Four Cheese, The Deluxe and The Meats. I am normally a thin crust guy, and do not like a bready pizza, but I loved the house crust! It is full-bodied, yeasty, has great texture and provides the right amount of bread to topping ratio. I enjoyed both Deluxe and Meats. The 4 Cheese was…. well… maybe cheese overload and I like cheese. Overall, great pizza, great service, fun atmosphere and fair prices.
I was walking around Louisville looking at the art and architecture when I saw the restaurant. I decided to give it a try because I like pizza. It turned out to be fantastic. I got a hand tossed pizza with cheese, pepperoni, and banana peppers. It was really good. My only complaint is that there was a bit more bite in the sauce than I would typically go for. Good food, good service, overall a good experience.
Service was great but pizza came out lukewarm at best and not good. As another reviewer said, a step up from frozen. My daughter ordered the spaghetti with sausage and it came out cold with very few noodles and way too much sausage. They were playing some type of talk radio over the speakers which was very annoying to listen to. I told the waitress, who was great, that the pizza was cold and my daughter did not like her pasta. She got the manager who has to be one of the rudest managers I have come across. He did take the pizza and pasta off of our ticket but when I mentioned the music he said nastily, what do you want me to do about the music. I then watched him walk over to other employees and talk about me.
Nice space, and friendly service (but slow at times). Impellizzeri’s has one of my favorite lunch specials – pizza by-the-slice (cheese, Italian sausage, or pepperoni) and side salad combo, all for $5.99 (plus tax). A quality slice of pizza and a generous salad full of fresh greens, red onions, tomatoes, ranch dressing, garlic croutons and a peperoncino.
Wow…… Forgettaboutit, it’s not a pizza, its a pie yous guys! yes, take your girl so you dont get swarmed by all the babes – true dat….really really really great menu for all occasions. perfect for yum center events ! go great food, go big blue!!z man w/ pie in hand

Great pizza…. but we sche…. Great pizza….but we scheduled a large party of 25-30 people and the service was not good. We were placed in a back room for more space but had only one server?! (*Please note we made this reservation about a week in advance.)We had to serve our own drinks and our poor server ran himself to death. My wife and I actually never received the appetizer or small pizza we ordered after waiting 45 minutes. We had to eat a piece of pizza from another table. Everyone’s bill still had the 18% built in which was sort of a joke because we did not receive that type of service. I feel the Manager should have stepped in and helped or sent other servers back to assist….especially if they were going to charge us (18%) for it. I must say the manager did offer a gift card to my wife and I since we never received our meal, but only after I went searching for her at the front. She was already aware of what happened so not sure what the resolve would have been had I not said anything. Might repeat, but with a very small party next time.
