The spaghetti squash. It’s something you phone home about. J Alexander’s knows how to create a comfortable professional and date night atmosphere. Not as easy on the wallet, the service soon makes up for the investment. Great food and wonderful timing on the part of the wait staff.
Our favorite restaurant! Went there for our anniversary and we’ve never been disappointed by the food or service. We had prime rib and ribs with sides, and of course, carrot cake!! Delicious!! We look forward to going back!
We have been to J Alexanders in Nashville, TN, Jacksonville, FL and here in Louisville, KY. We have to say that we were very disappointed in our two experiences here in Louisville. It seems the high standards that were in place are not found here in Louisville. The food wasn’t very good. The fries were greasy, and they didn’t get my order right so it had to be sent back. The salad wasn’t as good as it used to be. It seems they have maybe cut corners on the food and/or just lowered the standards. We have always been impressed with J Alexanders in the past with their impeccable service and amazing food. Ion the rare chance your order was wrong the manager would walk it out and apologize, sometime a complimentary dessert. Not here at this location. Sadly it was our last visit to this restaurant.
Veggie Burger. Best veggie burger in town! Seriously. I am no longer vegetarian but I CRAVE this burger! Delicious!
Great Food, great service.. Food was outstanding! Tried the Steak Maui and my wife got the Scottish Salmon. Both were amazing! Everyone was extremely friendly and service was the best I’ve ever experienced anywhere. Can’t wait to go back.
I go here for the New York Strip and the mac&cheese both are the best I’ve had in town. Excellent service and great atmosphere make this a great place for a date night with you and your loved one.
Great for a Chain. J Alexander’s isn’t a huge chain, but it is a chain. That atmosphere is nice, but setting feels generically chain. Everyone is uber friendly and gives great recommendations. Food is great.
