I come here pretty often. The service can be slow sometime but the food is awesome. I feel so spoiled with the side dishes here compare to a lot of Korean places I had even to out of state. It’s ones those holes in the wall, mom and pop’s restaurant that kinda hidden—with awesome galbi and tofu soup.The reason why I didn’t give koreana a perfect 5 is because the sanitation can be an issue sometime.
Easily the best Korean food in the city. I have been going here since 2004 and have never seen the quality of food drop. Sometimes the service is shakey but this is a real family restaurant and the do get overwhelmed. I don’t know the family’s name but I do know she handles the front of house and her husband does the cooking. In recent years I have not seen any other wait staff but do yourself a favor, because you will not find this quality of Korean anywhere in Louisville. Also the BBQ special is great but try other things as well. They have wonderful hot pots.
