I am still undecided about Lou Orleans, and will likely return to try more of the menu. Above average and very solid fried shrimp po’boy, with coleslaw sauce and lettuce on a French bun, served with Cajun chips. The chips were disappointing – although I enjoyed the seasoning, the chips were too dense and soggy.When I picked up my to-go order, the restaurant was fairly empty. The service was good enough, and the atmosphere seemed thrown together. After another visit or two I will have a better idea of whether I will frequent Lou Orleans on a consistent basis.
So ive kept hearing people talking about how good this Cajun restaurant was for last 2 weeks, so tonight i had a little free time to check it, upon my arrival you can the music out, which automatically made me fill like i was in new Orleans, the host an waitress was awesome, i try the alligator bits, shrimp and grits and a cup of seafood gumbo, OMG it all was to die for, the waitress told me that they have a buffet during the day that is $6.99 I WILL BE BACK AWESOME FOOD THEY GET A 5 STAR IN MY BOOK #AWESOME

Biscuit and shimp. It was the wrorst food I have ever had! I paid for 43 minutes on the parking meter and was back to my car with 15 minute remaining.. Very very bad. Never going back!,,
We love it. A few co workers and I ate there for lunch today and were very impressed. The server Lynn was amazing very pretty,nice and attentive. She made us feel as if we were eating in her house. I ordered the Ali burger the portions were huge we all left with bags. We will definitely be returning
Great Place!!!. We had walked past this place going to other places for lunch, but decided to stop in today. So glad we did. This place is wonderful. The food, service and atmosphere are awesome. Will definitely return.
New Orleans has arrived in Louisville. Excellent customer service, great food and portion size. We had fun celebrating my mother’s birthday in creole fashion. I will return and return and return again.
Oh my God. The seafood gumbo was to die for. I haven’t had Gumbo that good since leaving NO. I ordered the salad and soup lunch. The salad was nothing to write home about but the gumbo was spectacular! Very friendly staff and great service. Definitely going back!
