Awesome food, atmosphere, and service. I would return anytime! I loved the steaks and sides. The desserts are to die for. For that special evening, this is in my top 3.
Yes, it’s a chain. Yes, it’s exactly like all the others. And yes, that means the steaks are amazing, the sides are ridiculous, and the cocktails are ice cold. It also has the same wood paneling, clubby steakhouse feel that you’ve come to expect. Hard to beat Morton’s
Didn’t like it. Very Overpriced with average quality. I have spent more than $100 for dinner several times and Morton’s ranked at my bottom 2 with Volare’s on Frankfort Ave. Corbett’s is much better. I won’t return to Morton’s.
Lobster bisque, my rear. I have never eaten in the restaurant. I once had a serious need for lobster bisque and called to order it from here. I paid $18 for a cup of soup and got home to find I was eating what tasted like like butter, cream, and red wine. One lonely lobster chunk, zero lobster flavor. It was disgusting. And that’s why I’ve never eaten there. I cannot believe they’re comfortable charging $18 for a small cup of melted butter or that they’ve gotten away with it so long.
Ahi tuna tower is amazing. I’d go back just for that. The steaks are great, I recommend the filet or the ribeye.
It was absolutely divine. My husband and I went for or anniversary. The service was so professional. They went above and beyond to make the night special by greeting us with Happy Anniversary, printing a menu with a congratulatory message on it, a complimentary soufle, and a picture taken of us in a photo card! Superb! We used a special they had for $60 which included a three course meal, well worth it and lots leftover. Steak was cooked to taste but could have been just a tad bit me flavorful but good nonetheless. Spinach salad was tasty and I even ate the mushrooms, I hate mushrooms but they didn’t taste like mushrooms. Key lime pie was sweet and not too tart. I never had soufle and I’m glad to have tried it especially the accompanying whipped cream! Omg, the loaf of bread….awesome. Just try them, it’s costly but worth a special night out.
I will probably never be back to this place unless I have too. The atmosphere could be great but the service is so-so and the food is over rated. Louisville has many other better restaurants that are the same style… Jeff Ruby’s and Eddie Merlot’s thay blow this place out of the water. Not worth it, in my opinion.
