Good service, food was so so…sauces and Cesar salad dressing were heavy on the salt. I was disappointed they didn’t take reservations. I would go back if I were in a pinch.
Nice staple in downtown Louisville eatery scenery. Pretty straight forward Italian fare. Would go back again. A little heavy in decor. Nice service.
Like many others have mentioned, this establishment is mainly a tourist attraction. Very crowed with visitors, like myself. I believe the biggest selling point is the building. It is very unique as far the architecture. The service was good. I didn’t have any major cleanliness issues, though when a restaurant gets this much business there is bound to be some messiness, and the restrooms suffer!!! The food was just average. I didn’t eat anything that wowed me. In fact, some of it made me think it came from a box. Value was average. I think it’s a nice place to visit once, but not sure I’d be in hurry to return.
Lucia’s birthday celebration. Celebrated birthday with family and friends, had a wonderful time, the service was so friendly and the food was great. Would definitely recommend.
Spaghetti and meatballs are good. Sandwich was good. Fettuccine Alfredo was bad. Noodles overcooked and sauce tasted like out of a can.
Here is the email that I just sent to management:Ms. McClain, I just finished eating with a large group of 25 half of which are children. We had only one waitress but Jacelynn took care of us as if we had 3 servers. I am so blown away at the level of service that she has provided. We have not had to ask for one single thing. She was ahead of us the entire dinner. I don’t know how she did it. I am so glad there are people like her in the restaurant industry. I made sure that she was well taken care of by everyone in my paying group. Please let her know that we are completely amazed at her gift of hospitality and organization.Thank you for hiring such wonderful, capable staff. Joey Pippin
