Pretty good food. My favorites were the veggies. The sponge bread is really unique. I had no idea what I was eating so I don’t have much to write about on it but it was good.

Quite possibly my favorite restaurant in Louisville. My wife and I eat here at least once every 3 months. The variety of options of what you want to eat requires repeat visits. The spices used are very unique and I can’t think of a way to describe them other than delicious. The food is usually served on a later of fermented bread and you tear off small pieces of that bread and use that lieu of a fork. I think that is awesome. The food amazing and I’ve never once had a bad meal there.

Food was unique and tasted good. Sambusas were best I’ve had in this city. I had the mixed meat and vegetable platter. I preferred the vegetables over the meat. Overall, very nice people, slightly under staffed. Would go again.

Went there tonight with family for a small celebration. We had ordered Fossolia,, KiK Wot, Atakilt, Gomen Wot, Misir Wot, among other things. Most of the entrees we had chosen consisted of some form of sauteed or high flame cooked lentils, cabbage, green beans, mushrooms, collard greens, carrots, onions and green peppers. All came with a side salad and a side. We ate the traditional way with everything being on one plate and using injera (Ethiopian flatbread) to eat the food.Although my daughter and her husband have eaten there before, for the rest of us, it was the first time. It was truly a wow-effect. The spice (berbere) was very tasty. The food was plenty, but also light and thus could be more easily digested. The total bill for the 5 1/2 of us came to $52, which included tea and beer. There is no question about it, we will be back again for more.

The food was good, but everything was seasoned about the same. Service was great. Traditional service (giant platters w/ multiple orders) is fun and interesting with larger parties.

Went on my first date with my wife here.. Sentiment aside, it is a great place to eat. Queen of Sheba provides great quality food at an affordable price. Be sure to try the Gored-Gored or Ye-beg Tips. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly. It’s a little hipsterish at times, but what ethnic place in Louisville isn’t? The service is friendly, but can be hair pullingly, teeth gnashingly, soul crushingly slow at times. Spend that time people watching, enjoying a drink, or getting to know your future wife (like I did).

What?. I don’t want to be rude but this was some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten. the meat was tasteless and hard to look at. The bread look like something that was laying in my sink all day. I don’t get it. NO THANKS. not to mention the place is dirty
